Fitting instructions

Caution: This product should be installed by a competent person with DIY skills, If you have any doubts about installation we always recommend to contact a local Qualified tradesman.  

01.

Select a site to install the shower4Paws unit that has the easiest access to hot and cold-water supplies and is away from any electrics that might be affected by water when using the shower. Ensure there are no electrical cables, gas or water pipes that could be damaged when drilling through the wall.

Once the installation site has been chosen, mark the position of the centre hole on the external wall.

Use a 60mm-65mm diameter hole cutter to cut a hole deep enough so the unit will fit flat to the wall and then mark the position of the 4 screw holes with the unit levelled.

Drill the 4 screw holes with a drill bit and insert wall plugs.

Drill 2 holes for the 15mm pipe work to pass through the internal block work and plaster wall, Attach 15mm straight connector push fittings (such as John Guest) to appropriate lengths of 15mm copper or plastic pipe and to the valves on the shower4paws unit making sure that the connections are made to the correct feeds on the Shower4Paws unit(Inlet feeds marked red (hot) and blue (cold).and push the unit in to the hole and the pipes through the internal block work and plaster wall.

You may need to chip some wall away to accommodate the push fittings and screw the unit to the wall with 4 screws.

05.

Isolation valves should be fitted so you can isolate the unit during extreme cold weather, the hose assembly should be stored indoors when not in use.

06.

Connect to your existing water supply with the right connections needed and check for water leaks once water has been turned back on.

 

You are now ready to use your Shower4paws temperature controlled outdoor dog wash shower unit.
